Clor-D-Tect 1000 / Q4000
The Clor-D-Tect 1000 and Q4000 tests are ideal for waste oil transport companies and waste oil processing and disposal systems. By sporadic use, they can prevent contaminated waste from being mixed with non-contaminated oil, which would lead to higher disposal costs.
Using the tests, waste oil can be checked for chlorine content within 5 minutes in order to assign it to compliant disposal or processing.
The chlorine content in used oil can be easily determined with the Clor-D-Tect 1000 in the range of 1’000 ppm and with the Q4000 between 200 to 4’000 ppm. The quick test can be used for waste oils, hydraulic and gear oils, kerosene, cutting oils, etc.
The tests are not suitable for oils that contain > 20% water.
